The candidate will lead a group of engineers working on the implementation, verification and productization of WLAN connectivity products. Job duties include:Modeling of analog and RF impairmentsConducting C/C++ and Matlab simulations to study end-to-end system performance under various impairment and channel propagation conditionsParticipating in pre-silicon validation   Participating in post-silicon bring-up, performance characterization and optimizationInterfacing with HW, SW,, FW, RF and test teams to deliver on-time SW releasesField testing and verifying product performance using lab instrumentsPrototyping Next-Generation Wireless System.  Skills/Experience Required:Deep understanding of WLAN systems and digital signal processingStrong technical leadership Excellent communication and teamwork skillsGood understanding of analog and RF systemsFamiliarity with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, VSA/LitepointFamiliarity with 802.11g/n/ac/ax standards  Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in C/C++ and MatlabNice to have:Knowledge of MU-MIMO, OFDMA, multiuser scheduling, data network protocolsExperience in embedded DSP programming  Education Requirements Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with a specialization in Communication Systems and 7+ years of experienceAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - $210,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
