If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Research and apply cutting edge design and validation for analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for high-speed serial link applications such as: fiber optic communication systems, Gigabit Ethernet (GE), enterprise storage and wireless network routersResearch novel circuit techniques to achieve maximum speed and performance, while minimizing the power and area requirementsDesign, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systemsDetermine design approaches and parametersAnalyze equipment to establish operating data; conduct experimental tests and evaluate resultsSelect components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliabilityLayout/design work in a non-ASIC product environmentWork on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsExercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsNetwork with key contacts outside own area of expertiseLead critical design and supervise junior engineers.Characterize and debug analog designs for manufacturabilityCreate circuit models to define package and pc board requirementscreate circuit models to define package and pc board requirementsDevelop circuit test plans of testingUnderstand system level architectural design of broadband communication SoCsJob requirements:MSEE with 10 years of relative experience or Ph.D. in EE with 7 years of relative experienceAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $111,000  - $185,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
