If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Broadcom Central Engineering is looking for a qualified individual who can provide best-in-class development and support for Analog/Mixed Signal Post-Layout extraction tool flows focused on advanced nodes. As a senior position in the team, this will also involve technical management and coordination of the post-layout extraction activities within the team. This individual will be hands-on, heavily involved in design day-to-day issues and in addition, interact with EDA vendors, PDK development, and process technology teams to provide timely solutions and develop, maintain, and support utilities to improve productivity. If hired, the candidate is expected to be physically located in Broadcom's San Jose, Irvine or San Diego facilities in California.  Responsibilities: The candidate's main responsibilities will also include support, CAD tool techfile installs, evaluations (debugging and proper characterization of all RCX techfile related issues), test, release, and documentation.Develop software for automation in Skill, Perl, Unix Shell scriptingCreate documentation and provide hands-on training for design and layout engineers Work with EDA vendors to track and resolve issues Work with Technology Foundry teams (external/internal) to facilitate debugging and proper characterization of all tool related issues.  Requirements:Master in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science + 10  years of EDA experienceExpertise in the following CAD Tools: ICADV20.1 Cadence Quantus, Voltus-Fi, APS EMIR, Virtuoso ADE-L/XL, Spectre, and Synopsys StarRC, QuickcapSolid background in programming skills, circuit design, and device physics knowledge to help solve circuit design and post-layout extraction challenges and problemsExperience in all phases of CAD tools from evaluation, QA, release, and user support to documentationExpert in Cadence Skill, Perl, Unix Shell and utilitiesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, along with strong multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a teamCandidate must have the legal right to work in the US.Additional Job Description: Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $111,000.00 - $210,000.00. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
