This includes defining the integration architecture and patterns and the successful design, and development of API Management platforms and solutions for enterprises. Provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; implement the solutions; create technology differentiation; leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development with the objective of ensuring the best fit and high-quality technical solution and creating thought leadership within the area of technical specialization.Desired Skills / Qualifications: Knowledge of API Management concepts & fundamentalsPrior hands-on experience in API management platforms, such as Layer 7 and/or the Broadcom API Gateway API-related activities such as requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, building API policies and assertionsExperience with Broadcom API Administration functionsExperience supporting Broadcom API Gateway OperationsPrior experience with creating and maintaining design documentation including use cases and sequence diagrams  Experience in SOA Service-oriented Architecture) and API ManagementProficiency in web services and web API-related technologies (SOAP / REST, WSDL, XML, JSON) and experience as a solution architect in implementing an enterprise API Management platform is requiredStrong knowledge of Web services and API technologies (REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT)Strong knowledge and experience securing web APIs data integrity/confidentiality, basic auth and OAuth 2.0Ability to quickly grasp and learn new technologies and develop POC/prototypesExperience with Databases (Oracle)Experience with Linux/RHEL OSWork Experience:Desired:  8+ years experience at an IT professional services or software organization.Additional Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is requiredExperience working with Federal Government (Department of Defense, Civilian, Intelligence Community) customers is preferredSuperb written and communication skills in English#LI-REMOTE  Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
