We encourage team rotations to explore other areas of code and focus.Customers – We are doing work that matters to our customers.Collaboration – We tackle problems together in an agile environment.Sustainability – Both in how we work and how we live.What would your responsibilities be?As a member of the Rally Datastores DevOps team, you will be responsible for:Collaborating with a multi-functional team to define work that will meet organizational objectives;Experimenting with new technologies that improve our systems performance, uptime and ability to scaleMaintaining and tuning our Datastore systems to ensure system availability and performanceBuild and enhance our automation to reduce manual effortParticipate in the on call rotation to ensure 24x7x365 system availabilityWhat qualifications do you need?To qualify for this position, you have:BA/BS degree with 2+ years of experience.Ability to follow existing processes and procedures to manage and update our infrastructureBasic scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl)Experience in Linux administration and troubleshootingUnderstanding of configuration management tooling such as AnsibleTo be successful, you will come to this role with solid DevOps skills and a collaborative mindset:A track record of being curious and searching for answers on their ownDesire to work in an Agile environmentDesire to work with development teams to solve technical challengesFamiliarity with a query language (SQL, Lucene)To really stand out as the perfect person for this role, you may also have:Experience running transactional datastoresExperience with CI/CD pipeline such as JenkinsExperience with Google Cloud PlatformKnowledge of relational and non-relational datastores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch) Broadcom Software is one of the world’s leading enterprise software companies, modernizing, optimizing, and protecting the world’s most complex technology environments. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
