The Senior Regional Marketing Manager- Nordics is responsible for building, deploying and optimizing demand generation marketing programs across a set of territories or markets, leveraging the full marketing mix in support of Workiva’s revenue goals. The Senior Regional Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with Field Marketing Managers to deliver strategic plans that support expansion across the region. This position will liaise closely with Marketing, Sales, Partnership and Customer Success teams to ensure successful delivery of demand generation programs. And will closely monitor and measure programs against key metrics, analyzing and reporting performance to Marketing and Sales leadership, along with recommendations for optimization.As a Senior Regional Marketing Manager, you’ll have a strong focus on Account Based Marketing programs, with the ability to develop and execute strategies to support account-based selling, plus ensure that existing accounts are positioned for further growth. As this role is focused on our Nordic region, candidate must have experience marketing across the Nordics.What You'll DoProject / Team Management:Create visibility into the roadmap of marketing programs under your assigned region, both to EMEA and global marketing, as well as the regional sales and partnerships organizationManage multiple large-scale initiatives that span multiple marketing disciplines simultaneously and ensure the successful completion of each under tight deadlinesOversee all initiatives that take place within the region, making optimization recommendations to Field Marketing ManagersEnsure all elements of all contracted agreements have been satisfactorily executed as contractedEvaluate, negotiate and maintain vendor relationships critical to the successful execution of demand generation tacticsTrack and manage the marketing budget for the regionDevelop ROI and performance measurements for demand generation programs, reporting results to leadership and making recommendations for improvementEnsure brand and marketing consistency and flawless execution across all tactics across the regionCoach and support any Marketing Interns, Marketing Specialists and other Field Marketing Managers assigned to the regionDemand Generation:Deliver world-class, brand-enhancing, marketing programs that generate awareness, interest, and action to support regional pipeline and revenue targetsDevelop a thorough understanding of our offerings, customers and value proposition, and can communicate them clearly and effectivelyExecute and manages the successful execution of integrated programs to include the full marketing mixManage multiple events and campaigns simultaneously and ensure the successful completion of each activity under tight deadlinesDeliver creative event concepts to develop memorable, unique, and scalable experiences for attendees and participantsEvaluate the demand generation roadmap and ensure proper expectations are communicated to the organizationCollaborate closely with Product Marketing to ensure the EMEA Go-to-Market strategy is effectively tailored and deployed across the regionCollaborate closely with Revenue Marketing to ensure successful deployment of digital programs to support the expansion of the region as part of the overall demand generation programAlign closely with sales team to deliver tailored pipeline generation programsBe entrepreneurial in finding ways to include global programs to drive scale in regional demand generationWhat You'll NeedDegree in marketing, advertising, communications or similar area of study preferred6+ years marketing experience with a focus on regional, field or demand generation marketingKnowledge and experience with demand generation and integrated marketing, knowing when to deploy each type of activity for maximum effectivenessExperience working with a geographically distributed teamExperience working with top-level executives and speakers, a plusEnd-to-end events operations experience, a plusExperience managing direct or dotted line reports, a plusAbility to take initiative and bring new ideas to the tableCapability to flourish in a fast-paced environment and can act quickly on their feetAccuracy, with high attention to detailAbility to manage projects through all stages including: conception, budgeting, implementation, and wrap-upExcellent work ethic and time management skillsAbility to effectively manage junior team membersAbility to effectively present information and respond to questionsAbility to take initiative and be resourceful as issues ariseAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables within a situationExceptional organizational, communication, interpersonal and project management skillsAbility to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing situationsExcellent business communications skills, both written and verbalAbility to analyze and interpret program performance data, and effectively communicate insights to team members as well as leadershipAbility to interact with internal peers and management as well as vendors and outside agenciesAbility to travel up to 30% may be required to meet with internal teams, attend events and customer or partner meetingsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.#LI-remote Where You’ll WorkOur values drive how we work and who we hire.
