The Senior Program Manager is responsible for executing prioritized strategies and initiatives. This individual ensures that Workiva's efforts are prioritized to address our stakeholders’ needs and that this prioritization is communicated effectively within Workiva. The Senior Program Manager leads, manages, and drives multiple cross-departmental programs, as well as measures and communicates program strategic goals and objectives through metrics.What You'll DoAccountable for operational excellence including program reviews, feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, and execution based on prioritized strategy and initiativesSpecialize in leading teams through the formulation and execution of program plansOwns program and delivery management responsibility for multiple strategies and initiativesDevelops processes and tools that encourage continuous performance improvementsProvides program and relationship managementDevelops business and operational processes that improve efficiency and meet stakeholder needsManages all aspects of program execution to satisfy requirements and ensure profitabilityPlans, monitors and manages prototypes to avoid specification shortfalls, budget overruns, scheduling errors and situations that may require emergency managementWorks with stakeholders to determine the success of each program and subsequently plans for implementation of successful programs and discontinuing unsuccessful onesNetworks with stakeholders to build cross-functional relationships to further build, define and execute strategies and initiativesProvides transparency into program success with metrics regularly communicated to Executive LeadershipEstablishes strong relationships and partnerships internallyWhat You'll NeedEducation        Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.SkillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong understanding of the product development life-cycleAn entrepreneurial spiritSolid understanding of development, testing and integration methodologiesPersonal effectiveness/credibilityAbility to manage multiple programs at onceStrong problem solving and analysis skillsSolid financial management skillsInitiative to start projects with little or no information and drive to see the projects to fruitionTeamwork oriented and can thrive working alongside many different perspectives to get things doneUnderstanding of the implementation partner model within a SaaS organizationComfortable working in a dynamic, continuously evolving environment with the ability to prioritize accordinglyEffective negotiator and creative problem solver who can build consensus and drive results in partnership with stakeholders from individual contributors to executive leadershipCan lead through influence, partnering with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve a shared goalHighest level of integrity and management of confidential informationExperience7 years of program management experiencePgMP or PMP certification preferredStrong business background, with significant client interface experience and exposure to business developmentPrior experience managing large scale, global initiativesProven experience designing and leading strategic planning at a high-growth, enterprise tech companyTravel RequirementUp to 15%   Working Conditions & Physical RequirementsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeHow You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $110,000.00 - $196,000.00 AnnuallyA discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
