We are a team that plays to our individual strengths in an effort to deliver something greater than the sum of our parts, and we like to mix in some fun along the way too.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Program Manager, Finance Enablement to work in the exciting area of Finance Enablement . The individual will support the development, management and execution of a portfolio of projects. In this role you will report to the Director, Finance Enablement.Responsibilities:Responsible for project management expertise and support of specific operational and strategic projects, portfolio management, project management tools and systems implementation.Lead highly visibility initiatives and groundbreaking projects from initiation to closure by collaborating with partners, defining project scope and handling timeline, resource, deliverables and reporting using Project Management cutting edge methodologies and tools under both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methods.Support various activities including data management, document management, meeting management, scheduling and leadership reporting.Work with various leadership teams to define and implement PMO programs, systems, metrics and reporting in accordance to defined governance.Develop detailed project plans to monitor, track and report on project progress and issues to PMO and/or Senior Management.Manage changes to project scope, project timeline and evaluate project risks; identify and raise internal, vendor and project related issues, as appropriate.Establish and maintain a standard set of practices, processes and templates for running projects consistently and efficiently to reduce project related risk and costs.Provide superior client experience and strengthen relationships with all key stakeholders.Gain a deep understanding of the business challenges and overall goals in order to steer working teams to work through problems.Strong presentation skills written and verbal; adapt at gaining essential business decisions and requirements through interviews with all levels within the organization.About YouBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of relevant Program Management experience.Strong experience in Project Management methodologies and templates.Other Qualifications:2+ years of software industry experience as well as PMO experience strongly preferred.In-depth user experience with using Google Suites, Microsoft Suites including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Planning tools such as Asana and Smartsheet.Hands-on experience with data visualization tools is a plus; developing reporting dashboards preferred.Ability to collaborate with multiple layers of the organization with shown success initiating change and influencing at all levels.Strong organizational skills, capable of setting priorities and handling varying workloads.Experience leading projects with ambiguity and changing priorities.PMP Certification or Master’s degree-related in job-related area is a plus.Operational excellence experience as a lean six sigma practitioner is a plus.#LI-NF3As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer.
