We build the architecture design and develop new features, improvements, and major technical initiatives for all components of the community platform. We care for code through the entirety of the Software Development Lifecycle: Design, Develop, Test, Deploy. Our Development Engineers, QA, and Dev Ops Engineers collaborate with Product Managers, and partner teams to understand requirements and deliver value to Workday's customers.About the RoleAbout the Role:The  Engineer will develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. You will work closely with the team to deliver reliable automation based on test plans developed by project QAs. The engineer will write robust, efficient and maintainable tests using our in-house test automation framework. You will collaborate with other team members to decide the efficient mix of test coverage for features the team delivers.About YouBasic Qualifications2+ years of  hands-on quality assurance testing,developing reliable, performant, and maintainable automated testsStrong triaging and debugging skillsProven grasp and proficiency in common Test Design PatternsKnowledge of QA methodology and testing approaches and techniques Other QualificationsExperience testing SOAP and REST servicesExperience with TDD and writing integration testsExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and workflowsExperience with Agile/Scrum development processExperience giving feedback to peers in code reviewsAre you being referred to one of our roles?
