The team is responsible for developing and supporting innovative architecture-led solutions for our Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Support & Legal business functions with Salesforce being the primary platform alongside other groundbreaking platforms like SnapLogic for Integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ, CLM, AWS, Heroku as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO and others.About the RoleOur Go-To-Market (GTM) Enterprise Applications team is currently looking for a Sr. Associate Salesforce Developer to:Act as the developer on multiple projects from requirements gathering through solution design, build, testing and deploymentProactively use the most current technology to deliver a high quality product to facilitate and support client service and improve efficiencyDesign solutions and implement Salesforce in a way that is simple, intuitive and easy to and will meet business requirementsParticipate and collaborate in requirement analysis, Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployments, as well as sprint planning and strategic short term and long term roadmapDevelop applications using the Force.com (http://force.com/) platform (Apex classes/triggers, Lightning/LWC, Web Services API), Angular JS, related web technologies (CSS3, HTML5, Ajax, JavaScript) and other enterprise programming languages such as JavaIntegrate enterprise applications such as Salesforce with analytical platforms and other applications via integration tools using SOAP or REST web service protocolsImplement unit tests and write Apex test classes for code coverageUse tools such as Data Loader for data export, backup and migration between environmentsResearch Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysisAbout YouBasic Qualifications4+ years of Salesforce developmentStrong proficiency in writing Apex code and triggers, lightning pages / components, SOQL, SOSL, etc.Knowledge in developing and deploying solutions using Salesforce Lightning (Lightning Design System/Lightning App Builder/Lightning componentsClear insight of Salesforce platform standard methodologies, coding and design guidelines and governor limitsExpertise in declarative config - workflow, process builder, formulas, validations etc.Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using connectors, SOAP/REST APIStrong object oriented programming experience in languages like Java, C++Knowledge and proficiency in web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, Angular JS Other QualificationsApttus CPQ certified (201 and/or 202), Apttus 401 certificationExperience in configuring, managing and customizing the Apttus OR Salesforce CPQ (Configure Price Quote)Experience with Apttus: Sophisticated Workflow Approvals, Apttus Wizard, admin settings, Apttus custom settings, Products and Pricing, Shopping Cart functionality, Quoting and Quote TemplatesExperience with Node.js and familiarity with Heroku frameworkSalesforce Certified Platform DeveloperB.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field involving codingAs a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
