The team serves as the connection between Sales, Product, Services, and Marketing, helping showcase Workday's solutions to audiences across the globe. Solution Architects have great depth of product knowledge and use their knowledge to develop solutions for some of the toughest industry and socioeconomic challenges. They provide product and industry expertise to the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations. In this role, they will assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of Workday products to meet customer needs and present the value of Workday a variety of audiencesAs a Solution Architect focused on Human Capital Management for the Federal Government and Nonprofit markets you will:· Develop compelling demo solutions that showcase the value of Workday Human Capital Management, to include the specific product areas of Talent Optimization, Recruiting, and Learning, along with all HCM solutions.· Work closely will Development, Product Strategy, Professional Services and Solution Consulting to develop messaging and design solutions.· Focus on the needs and requirements of the Federal Government and Nonprofit industries, and understand the value Workday provides to these industries.· Provide support for active opportunities and demos.· Work with development teams to improve the HCM product and influence product roadmap, particularly for the Public Sector and Nonprofit industries.· Stay up to date with current and projected industry trends surrounding HCM and the industries of focus.· Share product best practices with the greater Workday organization.About YouBasic Qualifications:3+ years experience with Human Capital Management applications, with a focus in the functional areas of talent management, recruiting, and/or learning.2+ years experience in presales, consultation, implementation or sales-related roles.Experience in Public Sector and Nonprofit industries.Other Qualifications:Workday HCM experienceExperience in the Federal Government industryBachelors degree or relevant experience or in lieu of a degreeExperience using Agile/Scrum methodologyExperience designing operational workflowsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to thrive independently, while also being a strong team playerCreative thinker who is willing and able to tackle challenging problems that others cannotAbility to travel periodically for team meetings and Presales/Marketing eventsWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
