The CXO team mission is to help scale the Workday application platform and power the next wave of customer growth and opportunity at Workday. We do this by providing software development language compilation/transpilation tooling that supports transformation and optimisation and execute on our corresponding application runtime that is both fast and scalable. About the RoleThe role is to help manage a growing team of dedicated and deeply technical software developers and test engineers to scale up and out the development and deployment of our CXO technology. The core of the manger role will be to focus on delivery while also providing the inspiration to keep the team motivated, and, to serve the team to grow and develop their skills, expertise and personal capabilities. In addition, as this is a large global enterprise effort, it will be necessary to provide transparent and timely project planning and reporting, and to engage with stakeholders to help understand the roadmap and to enable the team and organisation's overall mission success.This role will suit and strong Technical or Team Lead looking to make a move into People Leadership, or a relatively new Manager looking to take on a new and exciting challenge, surrounded and supported by a great team.About YouBasic Qualifications5+ years’ experience in commercial enterprise software development.3+ years OO software design and development experience.Experience in leading a software development team as a Technical Lead or Manager.Other QualificationsPassionate about software development and building strong engineering team. Ability to motivate and inspire the team.Strong organizational skills. Experience in planning and execution of software development project. Exposure to agile development methodologies.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong ability to mentor developers. Good at recruiting and team building.BS in Computer Science or related fields.Strong technical knowledge in software development.
