The team’s mission is to deliver winning partner engagements focused on time, scale, and route to market, aligned to our operational goals and core values.About the RoleAs part of the Partner Go-To-Market team within the GPO, the Senior Partner Executive will lead joint business development with our Partners focused on the Federal Government aligned with the Workday sales organization.As a Senior Partner Executive, you will be responsible for developing the Workday pipeline across all Partners within the Federal Government space. In addition to working with our Partners, you will work across multiple internal functions, including (but not limited to) sales, services, marketing, pre-sales, value management, legal, and industry.About YouThe Senior Partner Executive requires industry expertise, executive presence, and strong communication and organizational skills.Basic Qualifications Must have 5+ years of professional experience in Business Development, Software/Services Sales, Consulting, and/or Channel Management in Cloud or Software Technology.Other QualificationsA minimum of 10 years of professional experience with at least 3 years of professional experience in Federal Government space working with Federal institutions, governing bodies and buying agencies within a Sales / Services contextState and Local Government Industry experience also preferred.Experience working with unique buying cycles for Federal contractingSales experience in the region, direct and indirect, in the space of HCM and/or ERP and business applications, working across enterprise and mid-market segmentsProven results in working across matrixed organizations, with complex team-based sales environments, and able to influence sales organizations and partner GTM motionsCloud Technology, Data, Analytics, API, and platform experience and understandingValidated experience in delivering strong results in pipeline generation and bookingsUnderstanding of Channel GTM motions, including selling through/to channel partners, co-selling/re-sellingExperience in public market facing activitiesAbility to envision the future for our partners within their area of influence and share that vision broadlyAbility to work well both individually and as part of a team and across multiple departments and groupsAbility to quickly grasp information across a variety of areas and build clear communicationsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.comMBA, a plusLocation: Washington DC (preferred); US Workday office with ability to travel within the country acceptable.Travel: Moderate Travel: 25-40%We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
