For that, we add serious helpings of laughter and chat to every workday and celebrate each other's successes in work and life.About the RoleWe are looking for a product manager to join a team that is passionate about enabling performance & scale of our customers structured reports. As a member of this product management team, you will work primarily on our Report Writer product which is the backbone of all reporting carried out by our HCM and Financials customers. This role requires deep technical knowledge. You will be working with quality engineers, performance engineers, as well as testing scenarios out yourself. You will get to work on initiatives that help Financials and other core Workday applications working on projects that leverage OMS-DO technology for reports and performance and scale improvements that help us get large scale customers using reports, improving our customer experience.Ability to gather and analyze usage data for purposes of monitoring report performance to ensure stability across workday stack at scale.Identify, specify, and prioritize features and capabilities through monitoring, your knowledge of the domain, and input from customers, developers and architects.Apply a use case driven, data-validated, and experiment-tested process to ideate, develop, and rollout performance and scalability improvements. Manage performance test creation and execution in partnership with QA. Maintain stats warehouse infrastructure for Analytics Products Collaborate with Workday support team and triage customer reported issues for the components you own.Collaborate with other peer product managers, Support, and QA team to bring closure to customer reported issues.Act as the Product Owner in one or more scrum teams by writing and prioritizing user stories, grooming the backlog, keeping the team focused, and communicating to stakeholders regularly.Partner with other Product Managers within the Analytics and Application teams.Program Management – balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, deliver results.About YouWe are open to hiring at either a Senior or Product Manager level, depending on experience and skills of the selected candidate.Basic Qualifications- Senior Product Manager6+ years experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Technical Program Management3+ years experience working on a technology team building highly scalable, dynamically deployed, reliable systemsBasic Qualifications- Product Manager4+ years experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Technical Program Management2+ years experience working on a technology building highly scalable, dynamically deployed, reliable systemsOther Qualifications​Experience with use case driven, data-validated, and experiment-tested process Knowledge of Workday’s Report Writer including Composite Reports is idealYou have a BA / BS / BE degreeYou have experience with web technologies or SaaSYou have excellent analytical, collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.You are a fast learner, detail oriented and should enjoy a fast-paced work environmentExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adjust to different perspectives and people of varied technical abilityA bit about our Vancouver office:New space in a prime downtown Vancouver location, with great viewsEasy access to public transit250+ employees and growing, across many Workday product areas50+ Analytics team members and growingMost importantly, there is a Tim Horton across the street (besides many nice restaurants and food courts around the block)Are you being referred to one of our roles?
