We believe in Quality!Our team works hand in hand with the Product Management and Development teams to deliver new Workday features and functionality across Financials, HCM, Payroll, Spend Management and Talent applications.Quality Assurance Engineers collaborate beyond specialist areas to verify that functionality works seamlessly across Workday products. Get involved and experience Workday!About the RoleWorkday is looking for an outstanding candidate to join our team. Responsibilities:Lead testing the capabilities of Workday’s Financial Close and Consolidation products.Build test methodology and test data set-up for configurations, business and transactional processing, web services and reporting.Test configuration, processes and financial calculations on Workday Financials, with particular focus in Allocations, Close and Consolidation processes.Collaborate with Financial Product Managers and Developers on design and testing results.Liaise with developers on automation of acceptance tests.Think creatively and consider issues from a customer perspective, while bringing a pragmatic approach to solving issues.Act as customer advocate in understanding requirements, while guiding on principles in the development and quality release of our global products.Grow as a functional domain and product specialist. Candidate:Enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to work with various different teams.Must be a team player, yet highly self-driven.Passion for troubleshooting and problem solving.Position ideal for finance professional, consultant or business analyst to transition into the testing of the design and system configuration of financial functionality in Financial Enterprise Applications.Functional knowledge in Financial Applications in the following areas: General Ledger, Reporting, Multi-GAAP, Revaluation/Translations, Statutory Accounts, Consolidations, Period/Year-end Close Process, Planning.5+ years working in a functional financial role.Clear and effective interpersonal and communication skills.High degree of attention to detail.Fantastic opportunity for a driven and career focused individual to join a progressive and growing team.About YouBasic QualificationsA college degree in Business or Finance, ACCA accreditation or similar, or equivalent work experience.5+ years’ QA testing experience with an emphasis on finance/accounting processes, covering functional end-to-end workflows, including test planning and execution.​Other QualificationsCreative and organised, with a dedicated customer approach.High degree of attention to detail, with an eagerness for troubleshooting and problem-solving.Hard-working and confident with the ability to work with different teams.Passion for troubleshooting and problem solving is required.An accounting professional, implementer or business analyst looking to transition into testing the design and configuration of enterprise financial applications.Have you worked on and tested large scale financial implementations/upgrades?Have you been involved in business process re-engineering and configuration?Are you being referred to one of our roles?
