The manager will lead a team of talented & passionate engineers, use modern tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenContrail, Ceph, Chef, Sensu, Ansible, prometheus and grafana, etc. and guide them to build an outstanding Cloud Platform.ResponsibilitiesLead a software engineering team that crafts, builds and maintains Workday’s private & hybrid cloud and related services.Hire and build an impactful team, coach & mentor them to perform at their best.Collaborate with Infrastructure, SRE, Product Management and other cross functional service teams to successfully deliver on the product vision/roadmapSet goals, strategies and lead all aspects of deployment of our Private Cloud across multiple sites.Influence and establish engineering best practices through design decisions, processes and tools.
