The platform experience team is responsible for building and enhancing our platforms to deliver outstanding community experiences.About the RoleOur Business Systems Analysts work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and advise on how to manage integration. Key responsibilities will include:Design, configure, test, and implement business requirements while prioritizing conflicting demands on small to medium results/projects across multiple, concurrent projects.Conduct working sessions with partners to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.Assess needs and propose recommendations and/or alternative solutions to meet their goals.Advise on best practices, recognize, and recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements.Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures. Seek opinions and feedback on alternative solutions from team members to solve needs.Specify changes to existing business processes and/or creating new business processes to meet specific stakeholder requirementsAssist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.Create, execute and review Test Plans and Test Scenarios, validate Test Results and analyzing defectsContribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating possible issues.About YouBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in business analysis or related field2+ years experience BA on SaaS platforms, Community Platforms, Social Media platformsIdeally, you are currently working as a Business Analyst with Software-as-a-Services (SaaS) based products 4+ years in an Agile / Scrum delivery environments3+ years with Agile project systems such as JIRA and Confluence4+ years developing and executing test cases4+ years developing system requirements4+ years working with onshore and offshore engineering teamsOther QualificationsA great communicator ability to extract hidden or implicit requirements via stakeholder interviewsA strong desire to work in a highly collaborative environmentSuperior analytical and critical thinking competencies, demonstrating ability to break down high level concepts into details for product delivery.Ability to prioritize and coordinate work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards under limited supervision.Basic coding skills such as SQL, Java, REACT and reading APIsA natural curious mindset who want to be creative and have fun at the same time.As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law.
