And we make fun a high priority!About the RoleWe are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality with a strong automation background and experience building a world class automation solutions. You will join an upbeat, open minded and supportive group of developers, product managers and other Quality folks to help build a new generation of on-demand Enterprise solutions designed to meet the needs of today's global businesses and to redefine how workers engage with Enterprise applications. If you have a willingness to explore the unknown, be a technological pioneer and have passion around improving customer experiences then we want to hear from you!As a Quality Test Automation Engineer, you will:Be a quality evangelist on your scrum team, get your team thinking about quality, engaged in the test planning and automation processWork directly with agile software development teams to incorporate test strategies throughout the development processCollaborate with product managers, designers, developers and other team members to identify and implement test plansDesign, develop, maintain, and implement test strategies, test plans, and automated and manual tests to verify user scenarios for new and existing functionalityDetermine where and how Automation can be incorporated and contribute to design and implementation of automation framework and execution of automated test suitesTake ownership of weekly deploy preparation and verification to improve release confidenceComplete manual ad-hoc and exploratory testing About YouBasic Qualifications3-5 years in QA Engineering, Test Automation or Software Development in TestA degree or diploma in a relevant field - (E.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering) or equivalent experience3+ years experience creating automation test suites at scale, in multiple tools such as: JUnit, Bamboo, Silk Test, Selenium, Cypress, etc.3+ years of experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or BambooA proven track record as a champion of qualityA positive attitude and excellent communication skillsExperience in an Agile environmentOther QualificationsYou are a problem-solver and investigator, willing to follow the clues to uncover a problem’s root causeMotivation to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and make data-driven decisions between opposing prioritiesA strong sense of customer compassion#LI-AS9As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
