At a massive scale, we contribute to the technology behind data normalisation, search relevance, recommendation systems and machine learning with the goal of making enterprise in the cloud more inquisitive. The work is exciting and rewarding.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join us in our Dublin office. You will be part of an engineering team with expertise building search and ML based predictive data into Workday applications.About YouBasic Qualifications2+ years of software engineering experienceGood verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to work well within a team.Familiarity working with large codebases and continuous integration concepts.Distributed, backend, systems engineering experience utilising one or more of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Golang or similar languagesDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent software development experienceBeneficial QualificationsExperience with any of Elasticsearch, Lucene, Solr, MongoDB or similar search technologiesQuery processing experienceLinux command line experienceGood grasp of SQL and distributed data processingAn understanding of SaaS applications and concepts would be beneficial, as would exposure to microservicesAre you being referred to one of our roles?
