Talk to us about an opportunity at Workday, Inc., to provide the next generation of enterprise business applications.About the RoleThe ideal candidate is an outstanding editor with hands-on experience editing technical documentation for enterprise application software to ensure quality content targeted to professional and technical audiences.Works closely with writers, developers, managers, and various partners to develop high-quality documentation for a targeted audience.Edits multiple types of content, including online help, system messages, release notes, and administrator support.Performs all phases of editing, including developmental edits, copy edits, proofreading, and final quality review.Tests product functionality while editing to ensure content is accurate and comprehensive.Balances multiple projects simultaneously, learns the products, and is integral to the Information Development team.Provides constructive feedback directly to writers to improve their writing skills based on an extensive in-house style guide.Copy edits and proofreads content for other teams to improve transparency and efficiency.Assesses content requirements, identifies cross-team impacts, and coordinates documentation resources to ensure successful execution.Assists with editorial content for all parts of the organization. About YouWe're looking for someone who can join a team of editors to ensure that we provide quality feedback for writers and leadership at all levels and all Workday product areas.Basic QualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, English, communication, or technical writing, or equivalent experience.Experience that includes 4-7+ years editing business software documentation, including user guides and other customer-facing content.
