We also have the unique opportunity to work with our product and professional services teams to influence product improvements and future designs to ensuring our values shape and guide everything we do and build a brighter Workday for all.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated individual to champion planning and forecasting success with Adaptive feature alignment and adoption roadmap for our FP&A and Workforce Planning organizations. You will be leading the development and execution of the product vision, strategy and roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify our customer needs, define requirements, and deliver successful products to support Workday's overall strategic goals.The role requires strategic cross-organizational collaboration and alignment, planning and decision making, and forming productive relationships at all levels within our organizations. The successful candidate has a deep understanding and expertise of organizational planning and forecasting, inspires planning excellence and thrives in an employee first, customer centric environment.Core Responsibilities of the role includes:Lead the development and implementation of planning products and solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growthCollaborates with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize and drive product roadmaps for improvements and Adaptive feature adoptions based on business goalsPartners with Technical Product Manager and business Product Owners to define cross functional domain process mapsChampions feature adoption and drive innovation with demonstrated Adaptive and planning expertise, up-to-date industry trends and standard methodologiesDefines product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to drive product development and deliveryWorks cross-functionally to ensure timely product delivery successDefine and measure key product metrics and leverage data to advise product decisions and strategyBe responsible for the product lifecycle, from in-take to release and ensure products are maintained and updated as neededCommunicate product strategy and direction to all partners and sponsorsAbout YouIf you are a strategic problem solver who is passionate about solving organizational challenges through driving connected planning, strong leader, upbeat self-starter, and problem solver, we would love to have you join the team!Basic Qualifications7+ years product management experience with strong focus on planning products, preferably in a technology oriented organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving with a data-driven approach to decision makingExcellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience with FP&A and workforce planningAbility to lead multiple products simultaneously at a given timeExperience with Agile development methodologiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, multidimensional environment with changing priorities and ambiguityConsistent track record of delivering successful products with geographically distributed teamsAbility to think creatively and strategically when implementing products and solving problemsGood social skills and ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple layers of the organization with shown success initiating change and influencing at all levelsExperience with Workday Adaptive Planning and/or other leading Cloud based SaaS EPM Implementations (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of SaaS business preferredProduct Management Certification is a plusStrong organizational skills, outstanding attention to detail, and a mentality that processes can always be improvedExperience using Project Management tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Miro, Smartsheet, G-Suite (Google sheets, docs, slides, forms/analytics), JIRAExperience in a dynamic hard-working environment requiring a high level of responsivenessEffective meeting management and continuous follow through on action itemsAs a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
