The role works closely with teams across the organization to ensure that the cloud environment is optimized for performance, scalability, and security. The CCoE AWS closely works with cloud engineers, developers, and architects to drive cloud adoption, automation, and innovation. Migrate and optimize the applications and services to the cloud with utmost automation, governance and operational efficiencies in place. This role requires a self-motivated professional that consistently brings a high level of dedication to Workday, customers, and workmates.Design, develop and implementation of cloud-based solutions in collaboration with multi-functional product teams. Recommend and implement right CCoE policies, governance and standards keeping the agility, security, cost and performance.Constantly evaluate new cloud technologies and services, and make recommendations for adoption or improvement.Develop automation solutions for Infra as a Code to reduce manual effort, faster delivery and improve efficiency.Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external teams.Monitoring, logging and dashboards to ensure the security, availability, and performance of cloud-based infrastructure.Build and maintain technical and support documentation in order to keep standards up to dateEnsure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements related to cloud-based operations; research and remediate infrastructure security vulnerabilities.About YouBasic QualificationBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field7+ years of strong Cloud Engineering experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining optimized AWS cloud-based infrastructure.Such as:Proven hands on experience in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, SPQ, SNS, Route 53 and ELB.Experience in microservices architectures & container orchestration platforms.Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform & Ansible; scripting languages Python or PowerShell.DevOps experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of security standard methodologies for cloud-based infrastructure.Deep knowledge in Windows/Linux OS & VMware environments with strong solving skills.Expertize in MML on CloudWatch, ,ELK stack, NewRelic and Splunk.Business Systems Analyst and Project management experience in a high trust and innovative environment where collaboration is essential. Other QualificationsGood knowledge on Storage, Networking, Load balancers, WAF, Firewalls.Security compliance & auditing.
