As a manager of the Collaboration and End point engineering teams in our Pune location, you will be responsible for building, managing and leading a team of highly skilled Collaboration and End point engineers to build, deploy and manage Collaboration Platforms and the devices utilized by Workdays growing employee base as well as coordinate activities with teams located in US. This will include Collaboration tools such as Slack, O365 Microsoft Exchange, Google platforms, LumApps, Miro and others as well as all Windows, Mac and mobile devices. The manager will be responsible for operational excellence providing an end to end service focussed on delivering seamless user experience to our workmates. Interface with and engage, govern device and technology providers and be the advocate for workday. Be Data driven and anticipate needs while engaging across to validate the needs and build and effect solutions.About the RoleMust have a high degree of organization skills and be detailed oriented.  Ability to estimate work and ensure balanced intake and allocation of work. Ability to deliver and keep pace in a fast moving, dynamic environmentInterface across all levels of the organization and understand, validate needsBe able to document and present concepts and influence outcome Ability to contribute to and support development of roadmap for the functionStrive for operational excellence across people, process, technology Stay above the fray and identify blindspots and gaps and bring in procedures, automation and resourcing to address demand and needsIdentify and implement programs to scale reach and effectiveness with available resourcesAbility to identify, define, monitor and manage key leading and lagging indicators that attribute to successful outcomes against plan Successfully represent and guide the team through internal and external audits Maintain a strong healthy relationship and engage effectively with stakeholders across the organization especially security, network, collaboration tech,  audit,  internal communication and end user servicesBe strong domain expert and ability to dive deep and get involved in solution design and as necessary hands on development. Be responsible for all incidents and change management. Act as escalation point of contact for critical  issues related end point management. Drive initiatives to continue to contain, eliminate occurrence of repeat incidents through effective problem management. Adopt best practices across end to end delivery and strive for minimal impact to end usersOwn all aspects of people and career management for team. Hire and build a high performing team. Act as mentor, coach and guide team to increasing performance levels. Support individual development goals including development of soft skills About YouBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of Windows, Mac management tools such as SCCM,  Jamf, MDM device management such as Intune, End Point security tools such as Avecto Strong knowledge of Collaboration Technologies such as O365, Slack, Google, etcProven experience in managing and leading highly technical engineers and ensuring exceptional outcomesExperience interfacing across multiple stakeholders internal and external and influencing outcomesHands on build experience and experience handling operations, incidence management and change managementProven ability to be detail oriented, analytical and data based decision making Excellent interpersonal skillsAre you being referred to one of our roles?
