Bring your brightest version of you and have a brighter work day here.About the TeamThe UI Platform team is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic and ambitious group, and contribute to the continued evolution of the Workday user interface.We are responsible for building and maintaining UI at Workday, allowing our Applications teams to rapidly create consistent, scalable and intuitive applications across the full suite of Workday products. We are also very proud of our "Freedom Fridays", an opportunity for workmates to focus on their interests and passions, explore innovative ideas and learn new skills.About the RoleThis role will be for a new full stack team (frontend, backend, full stack, and QA engineers) which will deliver enhancements across our UI Platform, improving the user experience for our 60+ million Workday users around the world. The team will primarily be focused on improving the performance, user experience and platform capabilities for rendering large repeating data sets to our end users.  As an experienced Senior Frontend Software Development Engineer you will;Write and maintain robust, efficient and maintainable code using modern UI frameworks and tools, including Typescript & ReactWrite reliable unit, integration, and system level tests that will run on our CD pipelineDemonstrate technical awareness, vision and influencing skills in your interactions with the people outside your immediate team / organisationBuild prototypes to inform the development approach for new featuresUnderstand and promote industry standard methodologyCollaborate with and teach other team members through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge shares, hackathons, etcDrive technical design and architecture meetings with the team and perform peer code reviewsAbout YouWe are looking for a proactive and motivated Engineer with strong development skills.
