Our mission is to employ the latest web design and distributed computing technologies in crafting a data analysis product that’s both easy-to-use and powerful.About the RoleIn this role, you will join a brand-new team that is laser-focused on improving accessibility throughout all of the Analytics user interfaces. You will be working closely with multiple engineering teams, you will review existing product functionality, evaluate new frameworks, make technology recommendations and build guidelines for how to make our user experience more friendly and usable. This is a very high visibility project that is essential in our mission to "create a brighter workday for all."The roles responsibilities include implementing accessible components and features in React applications and ensuring that applications are WCAG 2.1 compliant and meet accessibility standards. We write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using React and its related libraries. The role requires great collaboration and cooperation with designers, product managers, and other engineers to develop user-friendly and accessible experiences. The team will work on debugging and fixing accessibility issues in existing applications and staying up-to-date with the latest accessibility best practices and trends and providing mentorship and training to other team members on these trends. We strive to write clean and maintainable code using Typescript and make sure that all user interactions and data visualizations are accessible to all users. You will write unit tests using the React Testing Library and participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other engineersAbout YouBasic Qualifications:At least 3+ years of experience in front-end development using React, Redux, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS.Familiarity with the React Testing LibrarySolid understanding of accessibility best practices and accessibility APIs (such as ARIA)Other Requirements:Experience with analytics and data visualization librariesExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentContributed to medium/large scale A11Y projectsSounds interesting?
