Join us as we change the way millions of people work.About the RoleWe’re developing a knowledge graph based recommender engine designed to personalize the workday application for our end users. We need a Senior Software Development Engineer to help us develop this system, make it production-ready and support its operation. In this role you will help design and maintain a system that can scale up to our largest use-cases, all without breaking a sweat.Key Responsibilities:Design and build pipelines for distributed data processingDesign and build micro-services that serve model predictions in real timeTransform noisy data into valuable information that drives continuous improvement of our ML featuresBring operations best-practices from within and outside the organization, and influence workflow and technology choices across the team.Demonstrate consistency & reliability. Serve as a technical role model for more junior engineers.Provide and receive PR feedback that helps you and your colleagues improve their practice and learn from each other.Contribute to design documents for new system components and enhancements to existing componentsDevelop relationships with software engineers, DevOps engineers, and product managers across our organizationAbout YouIn addition to showing operational excellence required to help meet our SLAs, you must have a mentality of continuous improvement, passion for quality, scale, and security. You must be curious and prepared to question or challenge choices and practices where they don't make sense to you or could be improved.
