And we make fun a high priority!About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Associate Quality Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality with test automation skills. You will join an upbeat, open minded and supportive group of developers, product managers and other Quality folks to help build a new generation of on-demand Enterprise solutions designed to meet the needs of today's global businesses and to redefine how workers engage with Enterprise applications. If you have a willingness to explore the unknown, be a technological pioneer and have passion around improving customer experiences then we want to hear from you!About YouAs a Quality Test Automation Engineer, you will:Scrum team member on an agile software development teamFocus on incorporating test strategies throughout the development process, influencing the test approach with shifting left approach and building the quality test plansCollaborate with product managers, designers, researches, developers and other team members to identify and implement test plans/ test scenariosDetermine where and how Automation can be incorporatedWork with the developers and peer QA folks to implement automated tests. Investigating and fixing failing automation testsManually execute tests for specific workflows when proper automation is difficult or impossible (e.g. testing for perceived responsiveness)Manual Ad Hoc and Exploratory testing -- break our stuff!Monitor and triage bugs, reproducing and investigatingAbout YouBasic QualificationsA degree in Computer Science or equivalent2+ years in QA and Test AutomationExperience with scripting/automation such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman - API1+ years experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/BambooA positive attitude and excellent communication skillsExperience in an Agile environmentFamiliar with the cloud technologies, such as AWS and GCP environments is a plusAgile and Test case Management tools such as JIRA and TestRailOther QualificationsAn inquisitive, self-motivated approach to learningPassion for the technology and innovationsA strong sense of customer compassion#LI-AS9As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer.
