We are a high performing team of program managers who enable the team to deliver better aligned and more highly integrated programs that drive greater efficiently, more reliably and with higher visibility, while ensuring collaboration and communication across our global teams, helping to remove impediments and improve cross-team execution to deliver optimal business outcomes.About the RoleProvide program management support for strategic multi-team initiatives, including defining structure, tools for communication, tracking mechanisms and driving collaboration for our highest impact initiatives while helping to solve our most complex challenges.Support product leaders to establish plans, manage dependencies and risks, provide organizational visibility and team accountability to ensure the strategic initiatives move forward at the pace needed to deliver critical business results.Assist teams by guiding and mentoring them to be self-directed with strong decision making, conflict resolution, clear communication, and transparency.Implement techniques and best practices in processes and methodology so teams stay aligned and on track to achieve their stated goals.About YouAs a key member of Workday’s oCHRO Product organization, you will apply exceptional program management, an innovators mindset, deep experience in functional processes, consultative approach and advanced communication skills as you engage key stakeholders across the broader organization. In this role, you will help our product teams to create the future of work.Basic Qualifications:7+ years in project or program management managing highly visible, large-scale, strategic initiatives.Enterprise software industry experience working with product management and product development teams.Experience applying various agile and continuous delivery practices in complex team environments.Expertise with collaboration tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, and WorkBoard).Hands-on experience with project management tooling (Jira, Confluence, JQL, dashboards, Smartsheets).Other Qualifications:Outstanding relationship-building and partnership skills.A high level of organization and attention to detail.Exemplary presentation and communication skills.Experience in problem-solving, facilitation and interacting with colleagues of all levels, including senior executives.Successful track record of managing cross-functional programs or projects with globally distributed teams.The desire to help others succeed, with the ability to assess when and where to act as needed.Excellent coaching skills and ability to work hands-on with teams in an advisor role.Easily multi-tasks across competing priorities and critical initiatives.As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law.
