As a QA engineer your focus will be to develop, implement and interpret the outcome from the teams experiments. You will also work closely with other specialists on the team to further improve our tooling and automation resources. The team has a clear charter focusing on applying the Principles of CE in order to identify service resiliency issues, failure patterns and outages before they impact Production systems.About YouBasic QualificationsSr Software Development Engineer in TestBachelors Degree or 4+ years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation or Development.Solid understanding of QA methodology, testing techniques and approachesExperience with infrastructure and application-level testingExperience with different web-based technologies such as TCP / HTTP / UDP / Rest / Soap and morePrincipal Software Development Engineer in TestBachelor Degree or 10+ years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation or Development.Experience working on Public Cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS with a confirmed ability to debug/administer Linux based operating systemsExperience with Automated Testing focused on distributed architecturesExperience with containers, microservices and APIsExperience triaging and resolving pipeline and production issuesOther QualificationsExperience with Chaos Engineering and associated system resilience engineering techniquesExperience with load testing tools, Jmeter, Gatling etcExperience with technologies used in modern distributed architectures: Kuberenetes, Service Meshes, Circuit Breakers etc.)Have the ability to seamlessly move between solo and team projectsExcellent written and oral communication skills#LI-ADD7As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law. Workday is an equal opportunity employer. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
