Our application developers rely on us to provide a seamless, rapid deployment path for their features. Our customers rely on us to deliver a resilient and scalable platform that is always available and performing.We use Open Source technologies such as Openstack, Calico, and Kubernetes to build a flexible and scalable platform. We deliver this platform through advanced automation via our CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Zuul, Ansible and customised automation written in Python and Ruby. In addition we participate in the Open Source community to improve and shape the technology we are using.About the RoleWe are seeking experienced candidates with 3+ years of enterprise scale virtualisation initiatives to join our highly skilled team of DevOps engineers in Dublin. Help us continue to scale our private cloud platform, deliver new features, and implement hybrid cloud technologies to support both public and private cloud. Qualifications A passion for communication, software development, and cloud computing. Exceptional software system design, problem solving, and object-oriented coding skills.Experience in coding, data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, availability, and security. Knowledge in at least one dynamic language - preferably Python or RubyHands-on experience designing and building highly available distributed systems Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies, preferably Openstack or similar IaaS / PaaS private or public solutions (incl. containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes)Deep Linux system administration skillsStrong linux networking knowledge, knowledge of SDN technologies such as Contrail highly desirableConfiguration management with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar tools Bonus Prior experience in the Openstack community (including upstream contributions)SDN experience with Neutron, OpenContrail, OpenDaylight, OpenvSwitch or similar technologiesAWS or other public cloud experienceExperience in a static language such as Java, Scala and/or C++ About YouYou have hands-on experience running enterprise virtualisation at scale.You are passionate about solving interesting challenges through coding or otherwise.
