Senior Automation Engineer You will be part of the Engineering team at ServiceTitan responsible for the technical development of our product. Over 50,000 people depend on our software to perform all their daily activities.We are looking for engineers to contribute to our product quality by building out automated tests and test frameworks to improve coverage, authoring test plans, and enabling developers to move faster by ensuring our tests are reliable, performant, and correct and our test coverage is comprehensive. We need technically capable, forward-looking, experienced, automation engineers who are excited to contribute and deliver impactful results. We also desire those who can balance rapid iteration and development with high product quality expectations and who are innovative, confident, and comfortable with ambiguity. What you’ll doImprove our automation coverage by working closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers on test planning and building automated test cases and extending our test infrastructure.Work closely with developers to understand the product architecture while creating comprehensive coverage plans, designing automated tests, and enhancing existing automation test plansDesign test strategies that employ modern test tools and techniques including AI where applicableDrive execution of test cycles to ensure comprehensive and repeatable test coverageEvolve and extend automation scripts for new functionality and regression testingAdvance development of our test frameworks and test tools as needed Participate in defect reporting, tracking, resolution and closureMultitask between triaging issues, authoring test plans and automated tests, reviewing coverage and handling intake from existing and emergent feature development pipelinesMust be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance and be able to handle periods of uncertainty and ambiguity; detail-orientation is a must  What you’ll bring:3+ years hands-on software quality assurance testing experience, preferably with web and mobile applications in the software development industry2+ years hands-on software test automation development experience (UI and API)Experience with Web testing elements such as HTML, CSS, XPath, etcKnowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and familiarity with some core coding principles including unit testing techniquesExperience with code deployments and version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc) and automation within Cypress.io frameworkFamiliarity with the Test Pyramid and Agile Test Quadrants conceptsBe Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $94,000 - $134,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
