This role is vital in keeping our market-leading SaaS product running smoothly. The person who fills this position needs a high level of technical ability, an analytical mindset, and is a capable communicator and collaborator. What you’ll do:Manage Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers, with the Software Engineers focusing on the sustaining activities (bug fixing, troubleshooting, small feature enhancements).Utilize your staff appropriately to balance bug fixing, small feature enhancements, and maintaining and improving application/system health and performance.Lead and coordinate the effort for releases and hot fixes.Develop, analyze, and report on application/system health and performance metrics. Track production system incidents and produce RCA (root cause analysis) reports, and ensure follow-through of prevention measures.Collaborate and build relationships across various departments, including Customer Service, Product Management, Infrastructure, and Database departments.Meet with and build relationships with key Clients. Create and execute a strategy for our DevOps department.Coordinate and prioritize the DevOps backlog.Lead and participate in production troubleshooting. Present to Senior Management, Stakeholders, and other departments.What you'll bring:Degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum experience: 8 yearsExperience leading or managing Software Engineering teamsFormer Software Engineer; C#, .Net, SQL Databases, T-SQLExpertise with one or more public clouds (Azure strongly preferred)Experience troubleshooting complex applications/systemsPreferred but not required skills include:Azure DevOps for CI/CDAzure FunctionsAngular React Native, Mobile DevelopmentRESTMulti-service architectureWhere You’ll Work:Our headquarters is located in Chesterfield in St. Louis County; however, some local positions will be remote until the time is right to return to the office while other roles are more office-based.
