Job Summary:· Part-time hourly position· 25 to 30 hours weekly· Starting rate of $15· Computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Work, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, and computer diagnostic programs.· Able to work over head, on ladders, and in tight spaces· Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment· Proficient in making carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs· Experience with Fire Safety and OSHA regulations· Excellent communication skills· Able to perform routine building maintenance including carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical, and plumbing.· Sight survey and building inspection of facility structures and systems to assess and detect malfunctions; research replacement parts, make repairs, generate bids, and recommend solutions.· Supervise seasonal maintenance contractors as well as safety and site survey walkthroughs by Fire Marshal and Health Department· Must have the ability to walk on rough uneven surfaces and climb steps; work in cramped/confined work areas; climb ladders (heights of up to 40 feet); carry up to 40 pounds; move/lift up to 80 pounds on a frequent basis; make precise arm-hand positioning movements; and maintain arm-hand positioning to operate hand tool, electric tool or pneumatic tool; make skillful controlled manipulations of small objects.
