Brooklyn Bowl integrates a premier performance venue, food by Blue Ribbon, bars which feature local craft brewed beers, and 32 bowling lanes which give guests a unique place to relax, eat, drink and watch a performance.Job DescriptionBrooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is looking for a Facilities Manager who is dispatched to various sites throughout the venue to evaluate and complete repair work on all pump, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical equipment. They report meter readings to department management and make proper adjustments to regulatory equipment as well.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Coordinates the services and activities of facilities maintenance, repair, and projectsCoordinates and reviews the work activities, projects and programs associated with building and facilities maintenance and constructionReviews and evaluates work projects, methods and proceduresMeets with contractors to identify and resolve problemsIdentifies opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; reviews with appropriate management staff; implements improvementsPrepares specifications for various contract jobs; evaluates various bids and proposals for contracts; makes contract recommendations; monitors contracts to ensure complianceSupervises and provides guidance to general contractors; estimates project costs for feasibility; ensures that bids are cost effectiveManages, plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and revises the work of staff responsible for providing facilities management and maintenance services within the division; reviews and approves evaluations, time sheets and other personnel actionsMaintains and updates a variety of files and records; distributes work orders; prepares a variety of written documents including reports, letters, memorandums and other correspondenceEnsures that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properlyMaintain ongoing communication with General Manager and other members of management teamCollaborates with General Manager on budgeting for facilities needsHVAC – general understanding of HVAC MaintenanceManage department staffProfessional Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functionsKnowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulationsHVAC – preventative maintenanceKnowledge of bowling maintenance and operationsKnowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities managementMust be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal/external) oriented self-starterStrong procurement and negotiation skillsStrong communication skillsBudgeting skillsTime management skillsProblem solving skillsGeneral computer skillsCompensation: Base salary and incentives will be commensurate with experience.THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES LISTED IN THIS DESCRIPTION DO NOT CONSTITUTE THE TERMS OF ANY AGREEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT.
