Job Summary:Location: London, UK - HybridDivision: Ticketmaster UKLine Manager: Finance Manager – General LedgerContract Terms: Permanent, 40 hours per weekTHE TEAMYou will be an integral member of the wider General Ledger team who is responsible for recording and processing all the operational transactions for the Ticketmaster UK group.THE JOBThe purpose of this role is to lead the Accounts Payable function for the Ticketmaster UK group and to support the Finance Supervisor, as required.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Manage three direct reports who are responsible for the processing and payment of all operational invoicesEnsure that suppliers are paid accurately and on timeBuild positive relationships with and manage the expectations of suppliersKey contact person for employee expenses and invoice/payment queriesReview and approve invoices for payment in InspyrusReview and approve payment setupsEfficiently delegate responsibilities and monitor progress to ensure all AP deadlines are achievedReconciliation of key supplier statements and accountsApprove new customer account setupsReview the weekly payment runsEnsure that payments are approved in line with the corporate approval structureEnsure that all payments are recorded daily and accuratelyMaintain invoice approval workflows, ensuring that they are in line with approval limits and headcount reports to reflect leavers/starters and new positionsLiaise with Management Accounts to ensure that invoice coding is correctEnsure that employee expense claims adhere to company policyPrepare key Balance Sheet reconciliationsManage intercompany balances and confirmationsProvide support and holiday cover to the AP teamAssist with audit (internal/external/SOX)Take the lead on process improvement projects and new system implementationsIdentify ways to motivate, train and develop the members of the teamAd hoc duties and reports, as requiredWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)EssentialExperience in a similar roleIntermediate/Advanced Excel knowledgeStrong understanding of the AP functionAbility to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail and high accuracy levelsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentDesirableExperience with OracleExperience with ConcurExperience with InspyrusPart-qualified accountant and/or studying (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Knowledge of VAT regulationsYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)Proactive approach to problem solvingAbility to work well in a teamProfessional attitudeSelf-motivatedGood communicatorGood organisation skillsTrustworthyLIFE AT TICKETMASTERWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
