Our paid, part-time Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our merchandising team to research new vendors, order samples, and assist in purchase order and invoice management.RESPONSIBILITIESLearn key functional areas of business such as finance analysis, purchase order processing, and tracking current trendsGain exposure to merchandising analysis and reportingAssist in organizing product samples and working with vendors to request new and current samplesAssist in administrative duties for the departmentResearch new product and vendor options to improve product offerings and profitabilityCreate product catalogs and print ready files for festival product linesLearn the essentials of merchandising process, from product development to visual merchandisingOther duties and projects as assignedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCurrently enrolled in an accredited College or UniversityPrevious experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)Creative thinker and problem solverExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsMust have own laptop to bring to the officeMicrosoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skillsAcute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacyA strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programsPursuing a degree in Merchandising, Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferredUnderstanding and proficiency with Photoshop encouraged but not requiredPreferred interest in music industryCommit to 15-20 hours per week on a part-time basisC3 Core CompetenciesDemonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with peopleCommunicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to othersProactively seek solutions to problems.
