GUEST SERVICES/ANCILLARY CASHIER

Job Summary:THE ROLE:Interacts with guests to provide information about products and services, handle and resolve guest complaints, as well as actively selling ancillary products at a booth during events and maintaining sales records.STARTING PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS $20.00 PER HOUR.JOB FUNCTIONS:Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyaltyAnswer in person inquiries and report customer concernsInventory, transport, display and monitor ancillary products for sale, operate hand-held sales equipment for card transactions and maintain accurate sales recordsAdapt to customer needs ensuring that they are understood, and appropriate action is taken to meet and exceed their expectationsRefer unresolved customer grievances to the appropriate supervisors for further investigation/actionKeep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as action takenParticipate in the venue’s sustainability programPartner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue - this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, etc.Collect lost & found items, reunite them with guests as needed and store guests’ unclaimed personal itemsOther tasks as assigned by the Ancillary Sales, Operations or General ManagerQUALIFICATIONS:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust present unexpired original document(s) establishing identity and authorization to work in the United StatesA clear pre-employment criminal background check is requiredPrevious customer service experience is a plus!Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacyStrong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsA strong sense of teamworkPosition requires prolonged periods of sitting, bending over, lifting 25+ pounds and walking outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions (reasonable accommodations can be made)Must attend employee orientation and complete required online training modules----------The expected compensation for this position in Washington is:$16.00 USD - $20.00 Hourly** Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.  It is estimated based upon what an individual working in this position in the state of Washington would be paid.
