Job Summary:THE JOB Reporting to the Finance Business Partner - Moshtix, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for completing and overseeing all internal Finance processes and the financial management of the Moshtix business.You will manage our month-to-month accounting processes and requirements to ensure our compliance with internal reporting deadlines, accounting standards and policies.You will assist the Finance Business Partner - Moshtix in our budgeting and forecasting exercises and will engage with the wider business to understand the commercial environment of the industry and internal realities in constructing any assumptions.You will drive improvement and efficiency through constant review and iteration of our finance processes and contribute to key commercial decision making for the wider business by providing and interpreting data to substantiate your recommendations and suggestions.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Preparation of AccountsEnsure preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for submission.Responsible for review of all journals and final GL balances, including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records, financial systems and ticketing platform reporting.Assist with providing relevant and timely financial information to the senior leadership group, Ticketmaster Australia and Ticketmaster International to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the business’s results, strategy and objectives.Budgeting & ForecastingSupport the Finance Business Partner - Moshtix in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Preparation of P&L Variance analysis – prepare & submit variance analysis for differences between actuals and budget/forecasts.Reporting & ReconciliationsMeeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.Take ownership and independently analyse reconciliation tasks, and ensure any outstanding items are cleared promptly and accurately accounted for and have a sound understanding of each ledger account.Preparation of annual Statutory Accounts, and lead the businesses audit processGeneralAdminister expense management system, ensure compliance with internal policiesPreparation/review/submission monthly online BAS/GST activity statementWork with the Finance Assistant to ensure supplier invoices are entered in a timely and accurate mannerReview payments and approve in online bankingAssist in payroll administration, reconciliation and payment processesAssist in the businesses Internal Audit processes and implement recommendations in a timely fashionOngoing support of the wider business with ticketing operationsProcess ImprovementsManage and develop effective processes to improve the scale and performance of the business, providing suggestions and improvements.StaffTeamwork & Communication -
