This is a leadership role in an exciting and dynamic division with high level of responsibility, managing a team and partnering with both finance and operations teams across the division.JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of, training and mentoring a team of Accounting staff of various levelsPartnering with Tour Marketing Operations management in building budgets and advising on best practices as it relates to the accounting of various initiativesOngoing management of multiple program budgets, tracking and reporting on forecast vs actualsOversee the accounting for central marketing projects in our Concerts division, including central billing and cost allocations across multiple teamsTrack and account for costs based on and ensuring compliance with GAAP guidance for advertising, including monthly and annual accruals and deferrals, as well as accounting for sunk costsLead the month-close process for the central marketing accounting team as well as support other Touring accounting team processesPreparation of and/or reviewing various weekly and monthly internal and external management reportsReview of monthly account and tour reconciliationsReview tour marketing invoices for correct accounting treatment and approvals per internal guidelinesEnsuring compliance with company policies and procedures, responding to audit requests as neededBuilding and fostering relationships with the both the regional and central accounting and business partners, as well as upper management across the divisionIdentifying and leading process improvement projects to automate and streamline current processes, in order to maximize the contribution to strategic and business goalsAdditional opportunities in Accounting and Finance functions as they ariseQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTBachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, CPA preferred10+ years of related work experiencePrior management experience and strong technical skills requiredStrong communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external clientsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail and meet deadlinesAvailable to work extended hours based on team needs and reporting schedules, including evenings and weekendsStrong Excel and computer skillsSoftware experience preferred but not required: Oracle, BPC, Business Objects, SalesforceIf the above description sounds like you and fits your background, apply online at http://www.livenation.com/careers/index.html to join the Live Nation Entertainment team today!
