PARKING LOT ATTENDANT

Job Summary:THE ROLE:Responsible for directing guests’ vehicles to available parking areas upon arriving, collecting payment for parking passes for guests and assisting guests leaving venue parking lots.STARTING PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS $21.00 PER HOUR.JOB FUNCTIONS:Direct guests to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals, flags or flashlightsKeep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximizedPatrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property theftsLift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areasResolve parking complaints from guests in a positive mannerDirect guests to exits from parking lots upon conclusion of eventParticipate in the venue’s sustainability program to conserve resources/prevent waste, such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our effortsOther tasks assigned by the Parking Supervisor, Operations or General ManagerQUALIFICATIONS:Must be 16 years of age or olderMust present unexpired original document(s) establishing identity and authorization to work in the United StatesA clear pre-employment criminal background check is requiredPrevious parking team experience is preferred, but not requiredMust be available evenings and weekendsAbility to work long hours on event daysAbility to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service, especially when operating under challenging traffic conditionsMust have strong communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise mannerStrong sense of teamwork, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skillsPosition requires constant walking and standing outdoors for long periods of time in all weather conditionsMust present a well-groomed appearanceMust attend employee orientation and complete required online training modules----------The expected compensation for this position in Washington is:$16.80 USD - $21.00 Hourly** Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.  It is estimated based upon what an individual working in this position in the state of Washington would be paid.
