Global Communications is responsible for extending a unified narrative across all internal and external stakeholder groups and has direct oversight of external communications, media relations and employee communication. As the team grows to support our global organization, we are seeking high-performing, collaborative communications professionals to join us.THE JOBWe’re looking for a dynamic, experienced communications professional to fill the Communications Director – North America role. This position will be responsible for creating and executing a cohesive communications strategy supporting our North American business, including B2C communication and our B2B line of business across all major client segments. This is a highly collaborative role requiring confidence to engage and build consensus with functional leaders at all levels. The Communications Director will engage with our Marketplace leaders as well as with the Enterprise line of business, working with our global product marketing, product and tech teams, as well as our commercial sales and B2B marketing organization to develop communications strategies that drive impact.   WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDevelop Communications campaigns in support of new product launches, commercial initiatives, messaging platforms and more.Manage multiple facets of communications programs including media outreach, messaging, campaign execution, and reporting.Collaborate with B2C marketing reviewing content across public facing channels including copy for blogs, social channels and more.Collaborate with B2B marketing in developing a content strategy, creating, editing and reviewing copy for blogs, B2B social channels, client newsletters and more.Draft, distribute and pitch press releases and other media materials.Develop and nurture strong relationships with trade media.Identify, support and manage external opportunities for Ticketmaster to support Enterprise initiatives and extend narrative, such as speaking engagements, events and media partnerships.Draft and distribute talking points to support the client development organization and operations.Interface with Ticketmaster clients, coordinating media announcements and campaigns with communications contacts across teams, leagues and venues.Develop and manage award submissions in support of business objectives.Support special projects that contribute to Ticketmaster’s brand recognition.Draft interview and media briefing documents, ensuring adherence to Ticketmaster’s key messages.Collaborate on broader Global Communications team projects as directed.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)Minimum of 10+ years of communications experience required, emphasis on media relations, corporate communications, or social media strongly preferred.
