Operations Manager

Job Summary:Reporting to the Managing Director and Finance Director, this role is responsible is the operational management of the business across the company. including the oversight and management of events and event spaces.This role requires a mixture of administrative, financial and leaderships skills. An Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day activities of a company. They must ensure the smooth running of daily operations across the business including sales, recruitment, event operations, Information technology or any other related department. They identify areas for development and growth within the business and often create long-term strategies, successfully implementing them on a daily basis. Their goal is to maximise efficiency, create value for money and streamline operations.The most important task is to contribute to the long term growth of the company.The role will focus on the planning and execution of festivals, events and shows, and establishing efficient operational procedures, allowing employees to meet be operational goals and target whilst simultaneously keeping the business costs down.The Operations Manager will be required to manage multi-discipline and high achieving teams, reporting to a complex management structure and the ability to work co-operatively with senior leaders in venues, joint ventures, government stakeholders will be crucial to securing this great leadership position.
