Role DescriptionWorking within VIP Nation International you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance side of the business supporting the team needs in delivering and planning events. We are committed to working as a team and so support each other to achieve wins as a team.Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) part qualified studier with strong accounting knowledgeDemonstrable experience within an accounting role Excellent numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in using Excel at a high levelStrong organisational skills and a proven ability to multi-task, prioritise, manage task and work under pressure.Knowledge of UK/European VAT and WHT applicationKnowledge of OracleAbility to liaise directly with tour directors and tour managers/agents during settlement processExperience and in-depth knowledge of tour finance and working thereforeBehaviours The following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a successProactive and demonstrates InitiativeOrganised and deadline focusedSelf-motivated and takes ownership for personal and technical developmentAdaptability in any given situationCommitment and willingness to learnWhat the role includesPrepare monthly event financial forecasts for VIP Nation International TouringPrepare variance analysis and highlight any issues where requiredWeekly International touring reporting/tracking Assist in the preparation of touring budgets across the International markets Settlement of all International touring activity, attending events where necessaryPrepare final reconciliation of GL to settlements on tour/show completionProcess artist payments ensuring withholding tax accurately appliedReconcile show revenue to ticket audits and manage internal payment systemsReconcile purchase orders to any supplier invoices and deal with relevant queries and track all costingsReview and submit invoices to specific projects and GL accounts, and allocate costs as neededApproval of show expenses, tour floats and on-site expenditure and reconciliation to settlementManage and oversee ATA tour duties and workloadAssist chasing outstanding debtors ensuring artist fees have been paidLiaising with internal finance (AP, AR, mgmt. accounts) as well as VIPN depts to ensure costs and income is accounted for correctly, raising any discrepanciesJournaling relevant transactions between both Domestic and International projectsEqual OpportunitiesWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
