Your key business stakeholders will be the Trailhead Academy team (in Customer Success Group) whose mission is global enablement of our customer by closing the skills gap in the market and empower customers via learning programs. You will work on building the new Learning platform (LMS) to further Academy’s business objectives and help them be successful.As the Senior Business System Analyst (Senior Manager), you will play a key role in the end to end LMS build and implementation. Upon joining, you will be expected to hit the ground running and immediately participate in a Vendor Selection process to help build the new LMS solution. You will work on multiple Project work streams while producing high-quality work. You will lead the Requirements work stream consisting of global and cross-functional business stakeholders to validate business objectives and functional requirements for the new LMS. You will facilitate requirements deep dive workshops to capture requirement details and business processes. The work may include story mapping, user story creation and acceptance criteria writing. You will closely partner with other work streams that are made up of internal partner groups, vendors and professional consultants, to ensure that the system is designed and built according to business requirements and specifications.As part of the implementation, you will be responsible for the UAT planning, test scenarios drafting and UAT facilitation. You will contribute to the Change Management / Users Adoption strategy, planning and execution. You will also assist in the development of a post implementation strategy to ensure a smooth transition of the new LMS to production support team.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESSalesforce is a fast-paced environment and the LMS implementation is an extremely rigorous and complex project. It should be expected that the scope of this position will evolve. Below is a representation your typical responsibilities:Rapidly establish understanding of both current state and future needs of the Trailhead Academy businessHave solid understanding of business use cases and requirements for the new LMS solutionWork with key business stakeholders to capture and validate business objectives and requirement detailsManage communications and coordinate discussions between internal and vendor Product Managers and business stakeholdersWork closely with internal and vendor Product Managers to translate and clarify business requirements for technical team Participate as an active member of the team on solution design: represent end-user perspective in discussions with Product Managers, Solution Architects and EngineersWork with internal business teams, IT team and vendor teams to ensure that the business requirements are mapped to product functionality and business needs and expectations are met with the end solutionCoordinate testing (with business stakeholders), including drafting test scenarios, facilitating, demos, UAT and sign-off Create and coordinate sharing of business requirements and technical documentationProvide training to key business stakeholders Serve as first level of support for business users during HypercareAssist in the development of post implementation support strategy & transition plan to support teamPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED10-15 years experience as business system analystBS/BA Degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experienceStrong analytical and technical skills in information technologyCorporate Learning / Education domain expertiseExperience working on global LMS implementationsExperience working with both business and technical teams, coordinating solution design, development/configuration, and deployment across geographically dispersed teams across different time zonesStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsSelf-starter with ‘get it done’ attitude and a strong sense of team spirit; Able work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraintsAbility to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentExcellent oral and written skills, confident communicator with ability to explain complex issues and solutions in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work under pressure, highly adaptable and well organized; Ability to shift directions quickly when priorities change Ability to think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.ABOUT SALESFORCE Salesforce, the Customer Success Platform and world's #1 CRM, empowers companies to connect with their customers in a whole new way.
