And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLeading the development of client-specific implementation proposals, SOWs, staffing plans, engaging with SMEs across the organization to gain consensus on an acceptable implementation proposalAligning closely with Account and Services Sales teams to own pre-sales activities such as scoping, solutioning, planning, proposal & SOW development. In addition ensure the right solution to be proposed for customer requirements that is sellable & deliverable.Work closely with technical & functional project teams in proposing the right technical solution & provide estimation of requirements as shared by the customer. Provide the Professional Services team with Subject Matter Expertise related to the proposed solution and client needs in order to ensure successful project deliveryEnsure that engagements conclude with fully satisfied clients that are willing to be references for new potential clientsManage multiple strategic clients simultaneously Your Impact, as Engagement Manager you:Are internally and externally recognized as a business contributor, industry or product specialist.Have a high level of knowledge of relevant technologies, emerging business/ industry trends, competitive technical direction and product direction.Integrate research and emerging technologies into company product platforms.Determine methodologies and procedures on new assignments based on general direction from senior management.Work on deals & opportunities that are complex and transformative in nature.Be a big factor in shaping the pipeline for India Professional Service and supporting the sales & delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications & Skills:10+ years’ experience delivering consulting services, including team leadership and active involvement in selling professional services3+ years’ operating in a pre-sales environment, shaping and scoping large implementation projects3+ years of experience on Salesforce platform.Industry experience in one of the following would be good to have: Financial Services, ManufacturingDemonstrated technical and/or functional aptitude, and ability to engage with architects or SME into pre-sales activities.Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, executive level presence and experience in working in a client advisory role.Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutioning and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, Road mapping, project planning, & discovery & requirement gathering sessionsExcellent analytical & problem solving skillsLEADERSHIP QUALITIES:COMPOSURE: Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support complex engagementsEXPERTISE: Working knowledge of industry best practices and implementation experience of the salesforce product suiteCREDIBILITY: Able to interact with various levels of an organization both technical and non-technical to discuss comprehensive solutionsCONSULTATIVE: Able to lead high powered workshops and effectively tailor messaging based on the audience and subject matterWILLINGNESS: Able to analyze customer issues, articulate comprehensive solutions, and craft a plan of actionLEARNER: Has a passion for continued education in new technologies and complex business and technical conceptsPASSION: Passionate about Customer Success and is a great listenerURGENCY: Ability to move fast and drive business value and resultsOHANA: Embodies a team player that everyone enjoys working with and has a generous heartTRUST: Ability to earn the trust of the customer and lives the company’s core valuesLocation - Mumbai/ Delhi/ Bangalore / Pune - Flex AccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
