You will partner with data consumers to agree on the scope of critical data quality challenges and ensure that the data operating model is implemented to reduce data risk. Remediation of issues will include partnering with various stakeholders across the organization. You will help Slack Marketing build a deep, comprehensive, and documented understanding of Slack's key data, data processes, and data flows.You will not only be the subject matter expert for Slack marketing data and architecture, but will also be responsible for the following:Driving data hygiene initiatives to enable marketers to run successful campaignsSupport insightful and reliable reportingManage the intake of new data integration requestsCreate a cohesive and comprehensive compliance playbook to ensure compliant marketing campaigns and communicationsPartner with multiple operating units across Salesforce and Slack including Compliance and Data Operations, Marketing Technology and Engineering, Data Engineering and Architecture, and Strategy and Analytics to reduce silos and bridge team gaps, ensure secure data sharing, and reduce operational inefficiencies and analytics query errorsSupport upcoming projects (data and systems transition) from a data lead/SME perspectiveCreate or support the creation of data and system flow documentation and process mapsWork with the enablement team to institute change management processes related to data and system flow documentation and related data governance proceduresPlan and lead a successful self-serve data and campaigns transitionRequired QualificationsDegree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).At least 4+ years of experience in information technology and data governance. Experience includes supporting data quality initiatives, aligning business processes with data, supporting data standards/policies, and data-related issue management and remediation efforts.Intermediate to advanced SQL experienceStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms such as Tableau and Looker.Demonstrated relationship management and advisory skills with sponsors, key stakeholders, partners, and team members in both business and technology forums.Strong presentation skills, business and technical writing, and verbal communication skills to support decision-making and actions.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data flow and designs.
