What you’ll be doing…You will own and drive the technical roadmap and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Recruit and attract top talent to the teamDefine how the team evolves and interacts with the rest of engineeringAbility to take ownership of project delivery and multi-task on multiple projects/feature developmentYou will participate with senior leadership in developing a long-term technology roadmap for Trailhead Infrastructure and operationsDeliver high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.Participate, guide and facilitate innovation of new solutions to support the evolving needs of our organization.Participate in identifying opportunities and improving the processes and culture of the engineering organization in generalPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Leverage Agile work management practices, including Sprint planning and retrospectives to track critical deliverables.Partner with product owners for backlog grooming and work prioritisationScrum Master for 2-3 SCRUM teams (Offshore, Flexible to work with non-us timezone hours).End-to-end management of Technical Operations platforms including strategic roadmaps, architecture, solution design, engineering, delivery and operations.Foster an environment that encourages quality, efficiency, and innovation in accordance with our ValuesAbility to empower people, instill accountability and achieve resultsPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:Masters / Bachelors degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Equivalent ExperienceExperience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, work experience, etc.)Must be able to guide and work with engineering teams, product management, cross functional units, and upper-management.Overall 10+ years experience in Software Engineering.2+ years of Salesforce development & Implementation background is required.Experience with the Education and Learning technology domain is an added advantage.Experience in building and delivering highly scalable, reliable, and complex software systems timely and on budget.Experience leading hybrid engineering teams at various location and timezone. Experience with Kanban/Agile development methodologies.
