This team member will work cross-functionally, forming relationships with the business and technical teams to deploy the best tools, practices & insights to support Salesforce on our journey towards $50B+ ​A successful candidate will be someone who enjoys making complex things simple, excels at cross-team and cross-functional collaboration, partnering with key stakeholders to craft and deliver a joint vision, has excellent analytical skills, and is comfortable communicating insights in a concise way to non-technical and/or senior audiences. We are a team that values creative ideas that enable us to think differently, taking calculated risks, and stretching our capabilities.Key responsibilities include:Partner closely with Sales, Sales Leaders, Strategy, and Operations to distill customer, industry, and end-user research into key stakeholder needs that can be translated and delivered as analytics based solutions to enable individual sellers and front line managersTake general themes and big ideas to turn them into a broad vision, strategy, roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal oversightTranslate business requirements, needs and process into scalable technical specifications and solutions.Work with technical, visualization, and data engineering teams to drive the creation of tools (e.g., analysis, components, dashboards, and datasets) that enable data-informed decision-making at scale.Maintain existing tools, validating the data integrity, build and maintain the roadmap, and continuously improve its functionality.Support the development of the frameworks and standards (e.g., dataset automation strategy, frameworks based on statistical insights, documentation standards; UX standards) to drive a unified user experience at scaleDevelop and deliver training to key business partners and leaders across the organizationCoordinate, execute, and deliver our “Fast Start” GTM refresh where we ensure every sales leader has an accurate view of their business as we move into a new fiscal year.You will need to have a strong point of view and expertise around sales methodology, business process, technical capabilities, and end-user needs to identify and develop the right solutionIdeal candidates will have:5+ years (Manager) 7+ (Sr. Manager) of relevant experience (e.g., business architect, product management, strategy & operations, consulting, finance)Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent skillsProven track record of owning and delivering cross-functional technical projectsStrong understanding of relational databases and boolean logic; bonus points for prior experience in Tableau, CRM Analytics, or other BI and ETL toolsAbility to balance technical limitations against business needs, communicate trade-offs to an executive audience, work through ambiguity, and thrive in fast-paced environments.Experience working using the SCRUM methodology or other agile methodologiesCuriosity to understand the sales experience, asking tough questions, and driving desired business outcomesCritical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skillsAbility to navigate and frame ambiguous situations to solve complex multi-layered problemsAccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
