In this role, you will be serving as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform guide to the company’s largest, most complex enterprise customers within the following fields:Federal and State Non-profit EducationHealth & Life Sciences Public Sector Solutions using Salesforce Industries (formerly Vlocity)For each industry under our Public Sector umbrella - please refer to the bottom half of this posting to view our requirements for success in these specialty roles. A Technical Architect role within Salesforce includes these responsibilities and requirements:Serve as a trusted advisor to the clientIdentify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice; serving as an active contributor to the community’s overall knowledge base and expertiseGuide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying new technologies that drive increased business valueWork collaboratively, having very strong communications skills, especially in teaching sophisticated concepts and creative, prescriptive thinkingIdentify and proactively lead risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolutionRun customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partnersReview and accurate project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track, while ensuring solutions are extendable and maintainable going forwardWork closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with clients to architect technology solutions to meet client needsContribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the Salesforce PlatformMinimum Requirements:5+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experienceStrong application design skills combined with strong data, integration, and security architecture skillsStrong presentation skills. Able to optimally present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiencesDetailed individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologiesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)Prior work experience or desire to work with our Public Sector customers - government agencies, non-profit, educationAbility to convey and convince customers of standard methodologies at various levels within a large organizationApplication design and development backgroundTravel may be required and varies depending on the client requirementsStrong Enterprise Architecture background would be favorableRelevant Salesforce experience is desiredHighly beneficial to have any Salesforce product certifications prior to joining, particularly:Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Advanced AdministratorPlatform App BuilderSalesforce Certified Sales Cloud ConsultantSalesforce Certified Service Cloud ConsultantFamiliarity with working in a Salesforce Gov Cloud (GIA1) or Gov Cloud Plus (GIA2) org environments and/or Mulesoft Gov CloudPublic Sector Appendix (Cleared)This position requires a Top Secret and Polygraph ClearanceExperience working with Salesforce GovCloud or GovCloud Plus is desiredAny type of previous or current successful adjudications on HSPD-12 or other types of federal security clearances is a plusQualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your obtaining and maintaining the specific level of U.S. Government security clearance required for this role.
