Part of this work, which we call Global Readiness, is to ensure the CSG organization is prepared to support customers through the adoption and use of new technology coming from Salesforce’s T&P organization.Role DescriptionThe Director of PMO is responsible for the governance, road mapping process, and portfolio of readiness programs that enable CSG to support customers as T&P introduces new innovation through New Product Introductions (NPI). Responsibilities include:Establish and implement a governance framework for the readiness roadmap and portfolio of readiness programs Define and maintain program management methodologies, tools, and templates to drive consistency and effectiveness across all readiness programs Directly manage a team of technical program managers Establish and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure and benchmark CSG readiness programs Develop and implement a program risk management plan to address CSG readiness risks Using data from CSG readiness program performance, identify opportunities to transform the engagement model between Salesforce’s Technology and Product (T&P) and Customer Success Group (CSG) that will improve product serviceabilityMinimum Requirements:The Director of PMO is a critical role in ensuring that Salesforce's customers are successful with new products and technology innovation. This position requires a strategic problem solver with a strong background in program management and product development who is passionate about helping customers achieve their goals. Requirements include:Proven experience in program management, with a focus on software product development Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) Experience in establishing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and standards for product development Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and empower others Experience leading a team of technical program managers Proven track record with managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred RequirementsExperience working with Salesforce products and services is a plus PMP certification is a plusEquality is a core value at Salesforce.
